APEM manufactures specialized control panels for the medical, agricultural, nautical, construction and industrial equipment markets. Our extensive experience in developing and manufacturing no-fail components for these demanding environments is fully leveraged in our combined technology offerings, where the entire build benefits from APEM’s deep expertise with each component and their integration. APEM’s vertical integration means we control, and have mastered, every aspect of the build, from in-house milling of our aluminum housings to the manufacture of specialized snap-downs to enhance tactile feedback. APEM’s custom product building block (CPBs) often enable us to customize off a standard component base, providing customers with both time and cost savings. The end result is a perfectly integrated, fully tested and proven package.

User Input Devices
At the base of every control panel are user inputs. APEM offers the largest line of user input devices on the market, including:
- Membrane switch panels
- Rubber keypads
- Switches
- Accessories
- Joysticks
- All contacts types (metal domes, micro switches, switches, capacitive, hall effect…)
- LED indicators
- Touch screen integration
Housing & Plates
Integrating the input devise into a housing changes the game. APEM knows that the entire build must be tested, above and beyond the testing of individual components. APEM sealed housings are guaranteed to perform to specification.
APEM housing options include:
- Metal plates or back plate supports into which are integrated membrane switch panels, rubber keypad assemblies or other devises.
- Plastic housings or enclosures that can be either off-the shelf or custom designed. Plastic enclosures are used in combination with rubber keypads, membrane switch panels or other input devises.
- APEM milled aluminum housings, for use when the panel is to be employed in very harsh environments.
